Dog Professionals Training is a dedicated training centre borne out of the successful commercial operations of Auntie’s Doggie Daycare and Auntie’s Dog Spa.
The Company boasts its own dedicated training centre and has a range of courses on offer that consist of both theory and practical training including hands on experience of working with the animals and putting into practice all the things you learn before you embark on your exciting new career.
Established in 2008 Auntie’s has gone from strength to strength and is now recognised as an industry leading dog care business based in the North West of England. From opening up with just a few dogs as a day home boarding business the Company now has three successful branches of its own which incorporate two busy dog grooming spas.
The aim of our business and training courses is to promote and encourage responsible dog ownership through the doggie daycare and grooming services it offers, but also to encourage best practice and ethical dog care business practices throughout the industry.
Central to the success of the business has been the internal training that Auntie’s provides to its team members. All our training is now accredited to the Open College Network Standards (OCN) and is fully OFQUAL compliant.
So greatly have our courses been received by staff and customers that through Dog Professionals Training the courses is now available to existing and prospective doggie daycare owners, dog walkers, home boarders and people wanting a career in dog grooming.
Central to the success of the business has been the internally developed daycare leader and doggy daycare management programmes. This programme is used internally to train all new members of staff and forms the basis of them being able to work safely and professionally in a doggy daycare.
So greatly has this been received by staff and customers that Auntie’s have extended the plan and are now offering it to existing and prospective doggie daycare owners as a course to help them build on their dog knowledge, enhance their doggie daycare offering or alternatively give them a strong basis on which to open a dog care service or facility.
The Company boasts its own dedicated training centre and has the daycare courses on offer that consist of both theory and practical training including hands on experience of working with the animals and putting into practice all the things you learn before you go off and do this for yourself.
In addition to training on how to run a doggy daycare the Company offers courses in marketing your dog daycare business, customer service, accounting and record keeping for doggie daycare.
